IT Infrastructure Support

Role Description
As an IT Infrastructure Support Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our core technology backbone. You will manage Linux servers, virtualization platforms, cloud environments, and network infrastructure to ensure seamless operations. Your expertise will directly impact system reliability, scalability, and security, making you a key player in driving operational excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities
– Provide first-line and second-line support for infrastructure-related issues.
– Manage and maintain Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
– Administer virtualization technologies and environments
– Support and optimize cloud computing environments.
– Monitor, troubleshoot, and secure network and server infrastructure.
– Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring solutions.
– Collaborate with TechOpps, DevOpps and business teams to ensure infrastructure readiness.
– Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for consistency.
– Conduct system audits and ensure compliance with IT best practices and security standards.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who brings both technical depth and a proactive mindset.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
– Minimum of 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure support or system administration.
– Strong proficiency in Linux server management.
– Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies
– Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms.
– Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VPNs).
– IT Technical Certifications (Linux+, CCNA, AWS Certified SysOps, etc.) are an added advantage.
– Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
– Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly.
– Highly organized, detail-oriented, and security-conscious.
– Customer service orientation with a professional, empathetic approach.
